There are several options for family history research services.

Hourly ReSEARCH

  • I will meet with you 1:1 for up to one hour to understand what information you have on your family and what your goals and objectives are.  Or you can e-mail the information to me at research@finderskeepers.family and I will respond with clarifying questions to understand what research you would like performed.

  • If you would like research documentation entered into FamilySearch or work done within your tree on FamilySearch, then I will need either your username and Helper ID or be given permission to access your account.

  • Cost: $55/hr + cost of records requests, after initial consultation.  Vital records and military records, for example, can range in price from $1 to $100/record.

  • Time: Based upon the scope and nature of the research project.

  • ReSEARCH a family group & Provide a Narrative Report

  • I will meet with you 1:1 for up to one hour to understand what information you have on your family group or you can e-mail the information to me at research@finderskeepers.family and I will respond with clarifying questions.

  • I will develop a research plan that will be submitted for your review.  

  • Once the research has been completed, a narrative history report with appropriate documentation will be sent to you as a pdf and a print report.

  • A professionally printed copy can be provided for an additional charge.

  • If you would like research documentation entered into FamilySearch or work done within your tree on FamilySearch, then I will need either your username and Helper ID or be given permission to access your account.

  • Cost: $55/hr

  • Time: 3-6 months, dependent upon the availability of records, time passed waiting for approval of research plan and records requests.
